Thousands of years ago, the sages of ancient India had settled in villages, in mountain hamlets, and in simple huts along the banks of sacred rivers. Wherever they dwelled, unto their students they imparted the teachings of the Vedas, the profound wisdom received from the sages who had preceded them.

They were part of an unbroken lineage of teachers who had preserved the Vedic teachings by passing them down orally from generation to generation. Their spoken words were eventually written on palm leaves and finally printed in books.

Could those sages have envisioned their wisdom being electronically published for world-wide access via the internet? Perhaps not, but they certainly did envision the Vedic vision blessing generations far into the future. As their oral tradition was followed by printed words, publishing their teachings on the web is, if anything, long overdue.

We are pleased to present some selected teachings of Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his disciples on this web page.   Swami Dayananda Saraswati  is truly a master teacher a brilliant link in the unbroken chain of teachers who have disseminated the Vedic vision first in India, and now throughout the world.
